 Marketing Specialist

Job purpose:

The Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to create, build, and execute digital marketing campaigns aimed at quality lead generation. This team member will use Juristat's database of patent applications to communicate with leads on a very highly tailored and personal level. The successful candidate will display a sincere passion for marketing and an eagerness to learn.

Candidate must have the following skills/qualifications:

Degree in business, marketing, law, communications, or other related discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. A strong eye for design. Ability to learn and master new software on the fly.

The following skills/qualifications are preferred, but not required:

Experience with marketing automation (Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, etc). Knowledge of patent law is a major plus. Design experience. Proficiency in HTML. Familiarity with Google Analytics.

Job duties:

  • Create highly targeted and personal email content using lead-specific information from Juristat's patent database.
  • Create, publish, and monitor blog content.
  • Develop blog engagement and conversion strategies.
  • Write complex articles for outside publications like IPWatchdog and Above The Law.
  • Design and write copy for whitepapers, eBooks, and one-pagers.
  • Develop, build, design, schedule, and monitor mass email campaigns.
  • Evaluate email campaign statistics (open rates, click-to-open rates, etc.) and make necessary adjustments.
  • Create, publish, and monitor social media content.
  • Develop social media engagement and conversion strategies.
  • Create and write copy for product demonstration videos.
  • Build and host large-scale webinars.
  • Build and write copy for landing pages.
  • Keep up with patent law by reading relevant industry blogs and case law.

 Sales Development Representative

Job purpose:

Assist account executives in developing business relationships with law firms and corporate in-house counsels via phone and email to generate new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, tenacious, and able to effectively interact with a team. It is expected that SDRs who prove their potential will quickly advance into full account executives with unlimited opportunities to earn commissions.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in business, marketing, law , communications, or other related discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Ability to quickly learn and master new software and web applications.

The following skills/qualifications are preferred, but not required:

Prior sales experience. Experience with CRM/sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Call Fire).

Front-End Web Developer



Description

We're hiring a front-end developer to create beautiful, intuitive experiences for our users and pioneer new ways to interact with patent data. This would be a good fit if you're looking to collaborate and make meaningful contributions to the development of a modern web application.

Full Stack Javascript Developer



Description

We're hiring a full-stack Javascript developer to help create, evolve, and maintain Juristat's platform services, APIs, and SDKs. You'll develop critical services and applications on top of one of the largest patent databases in the world, powering our world-class patent analytics and search products. This would be a good fit if you're looking to work on stable, modern, high-performance web services that are integral to modern web applications.











Requirements

  • Proficiency in modern Javascript (ES6/7) with a server-side emphasis (Node.js)
  • Some experience in front-end web development, as this team maintains internal-facing tools and web apps
  • Strong software engineering skills: a sharp eye for quality, separation of concerns, and clean/extensible code patterns
  • Experience writing and debugging high-performance, asynchronous Javascript and database queries of various flavors (strong MySQL a big plus)
  • Empathy for users and colleagues

 Data Scientist

Job purpose:

Interpret data sources, create visualizations to aid in understanding data, and drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.

candidate must have the following skills/qualifications:

M.S. or Ph.D. in relevant technical field, and extensive experience with text classification, part-of-speech tagging, stemming, and tokenization. Significant background in parse trees, natural language generations, and topic analysis techniques included LSA/SVD and LDA. Familiarity with neural networks and other machine learning algorithms. Expertise in R, SAS, Matlab, or equivalent.

candidates should have the following skills/qualifications:

Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Java, Python, R, SQL, or other relevant language. Understanding of deep neural networks with respect to NLP implementations, and processing large datasets with CUDA.
